College Logo and Motto

Rivermount’s crest was carefully chosen to reflect the nature and character of the College, and portrays the values and ideals which every Rivermount College student is encouraged to uphold.

The name Rivermount, with the native trees and water, represents our fragile environment which we must preserve.

The College motto of Perseverance, Integrity and Excellence, is fostered in all students, so that they learn to persist despite difficulties, to be honest and upright in all circumstances, and to desire excellence in whatever is attempted, being proud of their efforts.

The College colours are Blue which signifies truth, virtue and sincerity, Green representing nature, youth and hope and Gold representing loyalty and honour, not only to each other, but also to the College and foremost to God our Creator.
