Hank Young Foundation

The Hank Young Foundation for Aboriginal Welfare and Education was established in 1989 by Mr Hank Young AO. Mr Young passed away on the 7 December 2008, his dedication and generosity to providing financial support to the Indigenous people of Australia continues through the mission and activities of The Hank Young Foundation. The Foundation is an independent, non-profit organisation. Our work is funded by the generous donation of Mr Hank Young in establishing Koorie Welfare and Education Pty Ltd - trustees for The Hank Young Foundation.

The Hank Young Foundation is a charitable trust fund that provides financial support to projects that contribute to:

  • The peaceful and harmonious relationship and co-existence of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people of Australia, and
  • Reinforcing the self-esteem and personal dignity of the Aboriginal people, both as individuals and as a cultural group.

The office of The Hank Young Foundation is located on the beautiful campus of Rivermount College.

The Hank Young Foundation is proud to provide Indigenous Education Scholarships in partnership with Rivermount College.
